At present, we are looking for a Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer.
The position is part time.
Qualification: Fitness instructor level 2
Personality: Can work equally well as part of a team as you can independently.
Salary: Paid per hour with Performance Bonuses.
Hours: Must be flexible and able to work to a shift schedule. This is a part time position with weekend hours and 1-2 weekday shifts.
It is essential you have the flexibility to work early mornings,evenings and weekends. (Early mornings weekdays (6:00am start) and late evenings weekdays (10:15pm finish) This is not within a 24 hour period - shifts vary and we do our best to ensure sufficient time off. Shifts are generally 4.5 - 7 hours per shift and you would normally havea minimum of 2 days off a week. Saturday start is 6:45 and Sunday is 7:45 and close is 21:15.
Hours are relatively flexible to suit team memebr's needs. 10-20 hours a week plus overtime to cover colleague's holidays. Paid holiday 5.6 weeks.
Must live within 10 miles of the facility and have reliable transport.
Reliability and commitment essential.
Duties: An interesting and varied position.
- Assist Members in achieving their Fitness Objectives
- Guide Members through bespoke, written exercise programmes
- Take care of Reception: Answer the phone, handle cash payments, open & close the facility
- Meet and greet members
- Keep the facility clean and safe by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
