On the 12th April 2021 we will be opening again after hopefully our final lockdown. We have taken great pains to ensure the gym will be safe for our loyal and lovely Members and our Fantastic team.
We are working as fast and as hard as we can to get all systems in place. We have had hundreds of emails and are slowly working through them so apologise if you are still waiting for a reply. (Hopefully this information will help to answer some of those questions).
According to the Mayoclinic, when you have depression or anxiety, exercise often seems like the last thing you want to do. But once you get motivated, exercise can make a big difference.
Exercise helps prevent and improve a number of health problems, including high blood pressure, diabetes and arthritis. Research on depression, anxiety and exercise shows that the psychological and physical benefits of exercise can also help improve mood and reduce anxiety.
The links between depression, anxiety and exercise aren't entirely clear — but working out and other forms of physical activity can definitely ease symptoms of depression or anxiety and make you feel better.
Unfortunately, we are, once again faced with lockdown but rest assured, we will be waiting to welcome you back again with the same friendliness and excitement as before. The next review of local tier restrictions will take place on the 13th January 2021, following another review of the tier system. If you have any concerns, please email [email protected] and we will do our best to respond to you as quickly as possible.
